Established in 2014, the brand MUKZIN is looking into unconventional modern costumes following the consumption trend “Oriental Fever” from a pan-Asia perspective.
The founders, Kate Han and George Feng, deconstructed the majestic and myriad Chinese traditional culture and brought about a revolution of orientalism aesthetic in a brand-new dimension.

《ELLE》published a group of photos named "Fairytale Muse" in its July Digital Issue. Pink Heart Blazer Featured in MUKZIN.

The collection was released at A/W 2020 New York Fashion Week. MUKZIN has built a unique aesthetic system through design, which contains both retro oriental charm and modern futurism.

VOGUE invited renowned photographer ZHANG Chao, who chose an item of MUKZIN A/W 2018 Jade in the Shadow collection, to shoot a group of photos featuring Chinese designers and demonstrate the outstanding design power of the new generation in China.

MUKZIN EVENTS

MUKZIN, in collaboration with Korean artist Rohui Oh, released the Limited Collection of Chinese New Year of the Tiger at ‘2023 SS Shanghai Fashion Week’.

Hami embroidery originated during the reign of Emperor Kangxi and the collection was presented at the brand's fashion show.

Doja Cat, a well-known American singer, wore a rose dress of MUKZIN 2021 ‘SS collection’ , and shared her daily outfits on social platforms.


MUKZIN - Concept Store of Moon Gate
There are some hidden secrets in space design. When entering the store through the narrow passage at the entrance, just as described in The Peach Colony : At first the opening was very narrow, barely wide enough for one person to go in. After dozens of steps, it opened into a flood of light.
The design of the store door is inspired by the Moon Gate in the Chinese garden. It’s shaped like a full moon which is introverted and reasonable. Under the cover of virtual reality, it achieves wonderful artistic beauty, so it is named Moon Gate.
MUKZIN - Concept Store of Violet
The facade of the new store adopts violet tones, which coincides with the intellectual beauty of New Oriental women that Mukzin insists on exploring. The inner wall is pasted with blue tiles and vertical stickers, which resemble the green bamboo that giant pandas love to eat.
This design also echoes with Chengdu, a Chinese city known as the "Hometown of Pandas" by the world.
